any 1 have advice on freshmen orientation at clark i leave on the 20th. are the placement tests gonna b difficult, what should i bring ect.
secondly how are the classes for the first years gonna be ?? my papers have me signed up for classes majoring in computer scie but i asked to be undecided. should i take extra classes for more credits or take it easy. math is my only weak subject.
As your future AUC brother I just wanna say that the difficulty of the placement test varies from person to person. Its no biggie if u don't test out of something because you will be in line with the four year plan. Although make sure you take the test seriously because I'm sure you would hate to take a class you feel you dont need to.
On the whole overload situation there is no reason for you to overload your first semester. You should take the normal 15 that way you can judge what kind of course load you are gonna need for the rest of your matriculation.
Hey!! I AM GOING TO ORIENTATION NEXT WEEK MATTER OF FACT AND I AM SORT OF WONDERING ABOUT THOSE TESTS MYSELF! FROM WHAT EVERYONE HAS BEEN TELLING ME I NEED TO TAKE IT EASY SO I SUGGEST YOU DO THE SAME SO YOU WONT OVERLOAD...WELL SEE YA THERE!!!!

Don't stress out to much on these test, take it from somebody who knows. I'm a senior at Clark this fall and i've been through all of it. The test aren't hard, they are basic algegra questions and stuff like that. Depending on your major, depends on what math you might have to take. All incoming freshmen who major in business will have to take Calculus 1 regardless. The math department at Clark isn't easy, but there is plenty of help available if you need it. I'm good at math and i'm a finance major, so if you have any questions, holla at me and i'll be glad to help any way i can.
I went to the July 13th-15th orientation and we didnt take math placement tests because they already placed us according to our ACT/SAT score... we only take like study skills survey type tests and stuff which really doesnt matter and its really easy so dont stress guys its no biggie. if yall got any more questions about orientation just let me know.

Your classes are easy, you don't have anything to worry about. Freshmen year is always the easiest, but after that you better buckle down. It won't be so much as the work is hard your first year, it's how you handle all the parties that go on during the school year, good luck.
