NBA 2005-06 thread Posted on 11-01-2005

I got my money on Phoenix and Miami, kinda like I did around the end of last season. Anything is better than seeing Detroit and San Antonio in the Finals this year. Also....F--K THE DRESS CODE!!!

I like Houston in the West. If Yao Ming takes on that dominant role, Stomile Swift becomes the beast that he is, and Raefer Alston is cohesive in the lineup then they will be dangerous. I could careless about the boring spurs. In the east.......DA BULLS. Their back without Eddy Curry. I've had a problem with him since day one. Not to offend him, but he's not being too smart. Jason Collier just died from an enlarged heart and this smart dude won't take a test that could possibly add on years to his life if he finds a problem. He can go to the knicks along with that cast off Jamal Crawford though. If we don't go for Nene quickly, there go be a breakout year between Darius Songalia and/or Michael Sweetney. What makes the Bulls tempting is that they were a playoff team with four rookies being among their biggest contributers. Just think how they will be after they develop one year into the league. Look for Ben Gordon to become a start at the 2, and Luol Deng to make a lot of improvement. The central is the best division in the league, but what separates the Bull's from teams like the cavs and the bucks are their cohesiveness. Chicago #1.

I got Pheonix Just because of Steve Nash(MVP Like it or not) but my only problem with them is why they let Joe Johnson come down here(The JV team of the NBA). and if they wanna pass San Antonio they need a deeper bench.

Thats cause we (The Hawks) showed him all the green. One question though: Who the hell is our starting center this year??

of course ive got my money on detroit again but lookin at san antonio the other night with van exel and finley comin off the bench its gonna be tough to beat them....but detroit with flip as the new coach wont be so "boring" as theyve been the past two years...watchin te game last night against the sixers the offense looked better than it has in two years and they even looked exciting...i mean we scored 108 points in the first game of the season...thats unheard of for the pistons...our offense is gonna be tough to stop and weve still got the defense...

THANK YOU, i have been sayin that for the longest time w/ the home team biz.... the Bulls gotta get by 4 other good teams in that division alone.... Detroit, Indiana, Cleveland... and Milwaukee is gonna be back... the Central will be like the NFC East in the NFL... the best division in hoops.... New Jersey is gonna take the Atlantic as long as their new Big 3 is healthy (Kidd, Carter, Jefferson) the Central will be again down to Detroit and Indiana... if the Pacers can finally mature, they can be tough to stop... but with a revamped offense, Detroit will be in control... Southeast is gonna be dominated again by Miami... they went 15-1 against their division foes (with the loss coming to the Bobcats)... the Hawks are gonna improve... and they'll swap spots with the Bobcats in the cellar... Charlotte can win games if they can just finish them (something they ain't do very well last night) San Antonio will repeat... they're built to last in the West, and they added Finley (even though he should've gone to the Suns...) :x more on my West preview later

Yall know I can't ever look at my home team as anything but a 2-3rd round playoff team already. The white sox just won one. The Bulls have been through a bunch of tough years and now their potential is forever building and me being a chicagoan I see a lot more promise than other people. Their takin the central just like the Bears basically capped the NFC last week. We all know that it's not impossible. The Bulls WILL be in the top 3 though and don't be suprised if they break 50 wins.
