Hmm....so I just got into this heated debate with this boy who basically is on sum "I ain't spendin money on no female cause they're all gold diggers" tip right now...Well I let it rock cuz he's my friend... but he got me thinkin...about what exactly is a GOLD DIGGER?
Personally I like to get as much and give up as little possible...don't know what that makes me..but then again I don't care...
But what do yall think makes a gold digger?Any funny (or not so funny) experiences? Any proud gold diggers out here? Any guys ever been played?
*raises hand*I've got to admit, I do not shy away from males who have a decent check coming their way. What female wants to be around someone that isn't financially able to spoil her a bit I'm not trying to get a down payment on a house or something, just a double cheeseburger from the dollar menu or something else edible is just fine Call it what you want, "gold digger" or otherwise, I am with you girl because I could care less. As long as a female isn't asking for outrageous crap, I think it's only fitting for a male to spoil his lady.
"No money, No honey!"A gold digger is someone out for material and financial gain, simple as that! They aren't looking for love or a relationship, they just want a "connection". A connection to someone with money. There's nothing wrong with being chivalrous and paying for meals, helping your mate out when their short, (rent, cell bill, car problems, etc) or even driving your mate around in your car. If they "expect" and need all of that all of the time knowing that you don't have the means to provide, you're messing with a gold digger.Kells..."Youse" a gold digger! lol T Diddy...You won't drive me around? Um. I don't know. I think I fall in the category of gold digger. I've been
basically "raised" to find a "dumb" ball player. But there is something about
being smarter than my man that I find repulsive.
I'm not a Gold Digger although I've been told I was. Why? Because I refuse to settle for a man that isn't stable. Stable in every way, financially, physically, mentally. He has to be together. I have no time to raise another child, if you can feel me. Sorry.

There's nothing wrong with wanting the person that you're interested in to have things...that's not what makes you a gold digger.
What makes you a gold digger is when you expect that person to take care of you the way you should take care of yourself. It's one thing to be married and have your spouse take care of your every need, but if you only talking to someone and you want them to take care of you like that, then let me tell you that you got things twisted!!!
HERE'S A QUICK TEST TO SEE IF YOU'RE A SELFISH GOLD DIGGER!!!
1) Do you think that someone is suppose to work their tail off so that they can spend it all on you?
2) Do you think that all you have to do is look good/fine and someone is suppose to wine and dine you?
3) Do you think that everytime you want something, somebody else is suppose to get it for you?
4) Do you only want to be bothered with someone when they get their check?
5) Do you brag to your friends about what all you can get from a person?
