Cali Anyone? Posted on 05-28-2004

FutureSpelmanCutie
Los Angeles, CA
I'm repping for LA but I'm feeling a little lonely. Is there anybody else from Cali in here anywhere? This is one reason that I'm afraid to go all the the way to Atlanta. How many other people from Cali are heading to the South and how do you plan to adjust?

I'm from Cali and I'll be at Howard and I'm positive that you will not be the only person from Cali at Spelman.

Whats up Im from Los Angeles also, and I've been down south for 3 years going on my fourth, and trust me there are plenty of people from Cali down there. I know of at least 10 people from my high school alone that are in the AUC. I go to Tuskegee myself and Califoria has either the number 1 or number 2 population at the school. And for all of you leaving home for the first time dont bell out your first year, coming from L.A I know your going to want to go home but trust me you not missin nothing bacc home. Everytime I come home the only thing I see different is the Mexicans takin over. Going to school down south was the best decision for me because I would have been at one of the Cal States or UC's getting in to all types of trouble. If yall have any questions holla at ya boy. First off let me apologize if I offended you or anybody else. All I was doing was pointing out the reality, that the only change I see everytime I come to L.A. is a greater mexican influence everywhere in Los Angeles, and to be honest this does disturb me. Even if you are offended by me saying this it is only the truth. I agree i shouldn't have said it the way I did but I can't take it bacc. I don't want this to turn to a race matter. As far as Behome's post I couldn't agree more. This whole gang banging tip is out of control, and going to a HBCU made me realize that. When I came home for Spring break two of the homies were **** over there in Hawthorne. That brings my **** homie count to about 15 which is very disturbing that a 20 year old like myself can say that. We must stop killing each other. This is The Nature of The Threat
