I also asked about getting around taking that swimming class and apparently there is no way to avoid it I think I'll just take the class my freshman year. A student I talked to said her professor didn't really care as long as you passed each test Ex: backstroke, freestyle, etc. and the more lenient ones let you re-take each test until you pass.
Ya know the crazy thing is- I CAN swim (at least I could 2 yrs ago which is the last time I tried)..so the issue isn't even failing or drowning....just my hair...

I'm not too worried about my hair because I'll be all natural by the time August hits. YAY for me and my future fro!! I just don't like the fact the I'll be in 10ft+ deep water. I can handle like 6ft but I have a huge phobia of drowning. The most I can do is doggy paddle

Wowww...Dictionary.com...Why didn't I think to go there?? hmmm..IDK..Maybe because that site references Wikipedia in its definition for sophmore..and in case you've been too busy being a smarta$$ to get the memo..Wikipedia is NOT a reputable source. So here's a little experiment for you...How about YOU open up any reputable source like say Brittanica, Webster or Encarta and then you keep flipping until you find SOPHMORE...You WON'T...and you know why-I KNOW you're probably a little lost by now so I'll help you out- You WON'T find it because it ISN'T a word. And as for that whole getting a life suggestion? Maybe you should try that first. After all I don't need to be unnecessarily nasty to get some drama and excitement in my life...
You don't need drama to have excitement in your life??? Obviously, you do. Or else you wouldn't be harrassing me like this. You really need to get a life, don't you have something better to do? No, you don't ...because if you did, you would be doing them. Look at yourself, you harassing a 15 year old ON THE INTERNET. You're pathetic. It's Saturday night, and you're a college student. Don't you any friends? ...I doubt it. Before you go on and on talking about reputable sources for a definition. Why don't YOU try looking in a Websters dictionary for "sophmore". It will be there. The only reason I said Dictionary.com is because You're at a computer and it would be more convenient. So anyways, I'm done talking to you. You're ignorant and immature. Your opinions and thoughts mean nothing to me. You mean nothing to me, I don't know you. You're not worth my time. So why don't you go on MySpace or something and find some other 15 or 14 year old to harrass. You know, some one on your level. I don't have time for cyber thugs. Bye.

****...Actually, I'm a senior in hs not that it's any of your business and I really DON'T have anything better to do than get to sleep for church tomorrow AND its real cute how your initial post was blasting somebody about not having command of the English language when you obviously don't either. "Don't you any friends" you ask....I'm pretty sure there's a verb missing somewhere in there sweetie but maybe your school is saving that for 11th grade. Or maybe you did learn that and it's just a little difficult to collect your thoughts when your having a temper tantrum. It's cool though. I'll leave you alone...BUT only if you promise not to tell your mommy I was being mean to you...ok?? btw..It was real nice of you to dedicate a whole paragraph to me being that I'm not worth your time and my opinions don't matter..thanks so much..i feel tingly inside

for everybody who replied to my post, i was in a rush( I had AP Human Geography homework to do) so I typed what I could. I just joined two or three days ago. That was not me who could not spell. I can spell sophomore. I was actually a sophomore when I became a member of the National Society of High School Scholars(the Nobel,of Nobel Peace Prizes, family started it.)I am from America(Nashville, TN).I have a GPA of 3.0, I am a senior, and I'm in the Honors program at my school. So all those ******* who said I couldn't spell can kiss my **** :fuk2: and don't reply to anything else I say.

Thank the Lord I switched my intended School from College of Arts and Science to Business because God knows I cant deal with the stress of swimming I dont do water higher than 5 feet 9 inches. Anyway...Oraletta that was a valid question but I guess you will get use to it when you get there unless you have had past horrible experiences with water. I got the picture of what you were saying in your original post this is not AP Lit or any english online class for that matter so girl there is no need for you to correct yourself.

Since when did we have to take Phys. Ed at Howard?? I swear, first it was the swimming class of the College of Arts & Sciences and now I've got to take P.E.? I thought I was through with all this physical activity my SOPHOMORE year of high school. Each day I learn something new about HU....this school never ceases to amaze me.
Well if you would have asked that question in the Howard Q&A thread I made, then you would have known And I see you tryin to be funny highlighting "sophomore" all extra big and shyt
