Hamptonians it is time for you all to be put on blast.....what is up with this lack of school spirit. You see the Football team, "The Force", blue thunder, even the choir and the pirateers getting hype of off everything but what about everybody else. Why are the Hampton people not getting hype? What is the issue?

We just don't get it....we are hype in the stands and everyone else is still sitting down like bumps on a log...What is the issue?
I'm working it out as we speak......so far I've found a couple suspect people. When I finish compiling my list they will have a week to prove themselves or get the boot.
I have school spirit for HU because I'm glad that i was accepted....and I'm gonna let everyone kno that HU is where I'm going (even if they dont kno me) Everytime someone from my town mentions Hampton--me n my friends that are also goin to HU this fall all get hyped.......but yea, school spirit was always a problem at my HS....I think people should just forget about what other people r gonna think....get crunk and rep HU and show their spirit

I mean we only had 3 home games last year and I feel that we got more love in Cleveland and Jersey then we did in Hampton... I mean I felt like more people cheered in NORFOLK then at home.
To people that are looking... you have to realize that the band is there for you and the team. We feed off of your hypeness. We cant just be on the field giving our all and you all up in the stands chillin...lol.. I know it sounds like crazy... but its true!!! We always try to think of new and inoventive ways to make yall just get on ya feet!! lol...whats up?!?!

yeah I was at the Ohio Classic when y'all came here...it was live! It made me proud to rep HU even tho I hadn't even been accepted yet!

i remember at times in the band when yall (the audience) was ****, id just say f*ck it and me and other people in the section just sat down and chilled while everyone else danced and TRIED to get hype... i wont be in the band next year but i know one thing, imma bust sum heads in the stands if yall dont get on your feet and get HYPE! :evil:

I remember homecoming when we marched off and it was **** silent. I heard the crickets chirping...I was like the crowd is lame. We busted our butts this week to get Halftime ready and that's what we get? Durn! I cant get hype off of a **** crowd, then the crowd complains about the band!
Not to bust any bubbles...but although you guys worked really hard...the halftime performance was kinda dry. I've heard wayyyyyyyyy better performances by THE FORCE...and I just knew for homecoming yall were gonna pull out some new...never been seen done and all that stuff before things....but at the end I know I was like...BLAH!!!!
Damn....I don't like sitting in the student section at games because its not the best view in the house.
BUT I may have to join the pep squad...Pirateers...whatever they are....I got some ideas....I'm bout to add some D-1 A white people spirit....get some dudes to right H-A-M-P-T-O-N across their chest during the coldest game of the year.
the games i went 2 last yr it seemed like ppl just wanted 2 look cool/good (which they did ) lol but i wouldn't really know cuz i went 2 mostly bball games
hmmmm...so school spirit needs work...never fear NICOLE IS HERE...i get hype over anything...shoot it can be the golf team and ill be hype. 9th-11th grade when i was a cheerleader i was so crazy and school spirited and in 12th grade i was on the pep squad...hopefully i can join some kinda pep squad or whatever at Hampton.
