Last year's Black College weekend did get **** in the parking lot, but overall it was fun. I'll be back in April represented Jersey and Del State heavy.
Well most people go to KD understanding that it's not about the rides...it's more about showing off and reppin where you're from. I dont go for the rides because it's so many people there. I think the date is April 10th. I have to warn everybody about the Drop Zone. I lost my breath on that ride. Lots of people have also had that to happen to them so be prepared. And Hampton04 is right about the shade...there isn't any..lol.But dont be discouraged from going its an experience you'll remember especially if you're not from VA.
i think its even better than the Six Flags in MD aka Adventure World. All yall shoud come, believe u wont regret it. :wink:

But some people i know went last yr(when we were in high school) and they had a reall good time. So I'ma have to look in to that since my birthday is April 18.
Me and My girls are thinking about goin to KD. I heard that it was gonna be off the chain and you know we gotta rep the good ol Orange and Blue thats right VSU and Im pretty sure that my fellow Trojans will be there also

I would not recommend anybody go to that...I went for the past two years and each year has been a disaster!
#1: People come dressed like The Players Club
#2 You would think it was Freaknik reincarnated with all the guys parking lot pimpin' with cameras asking the girls dressed for The Players Club to dance for them
#3 Ig'nant black folk don't know how to leave their guns and beef at home (WE ALMOST DIDN'T GET OUT OF THE PARKING LOT WITHOUT GETTING A BOTTLE THROWN AT OUR CAR OR GETTING GUNSHOTS THROUGH THE WINDOW!)
#4 You'll be lucky to ride two rides if you do go!
#5 The acts that they showcase aren't all that

If you're a freshman, sophomore, junior or even a senior, save your money....go when it's not Black College Weekend and you can enjoy the rides with friends. Take my word for it...
Last year my friends and I didn't make it to KD but we went to Broad St. in Richmond and that was OC...a bunch of negroes in nice cars hangin out the windows...girls with no clothes on...if you look like u have a broke face u still get hollered at...it was an aight atmosphere till negroes started running. I ain't know what they were runnin for but we bounced. I heard all the parties were sold out. Hopefully we will go this year...but I'm getting to old for the out of control atmosphere I think. Went to a highschool basketball game and damn near had a heart attack.
me and my fiends will be there, I know it be off the hook. but whoever plan on attending, get yo tickets before u go cause they dont sell tickets at the gate for this event.
