What are you doing to get into the Christmas spirit this year?Are you usually in the Christmas spirit?I still haven't went Christmas shopping this year.
my mom **** that x-mas spirit right quick, so around that time im kinda of a grinch....bad time for me, bad time...dont even get me started on new years :roll:
Thought about Christmas but it seems far away so I am not in the spirit I will get into it when I go home for break and then my little brothers get me more in the spirit....its fun to sit there and watch them get all happy about X-mas and open their presents....makes me think when i was that age and i looked forward to that day all year....man i feel old and I am only 19 :?
man...they're KILLING the xmas commercials already...and i'm not asking for anything this xmas because:
1. My parents paid ALL of my band dues this year: $325
2. They paid for my band trip to Los Angeles next weekend: $175
3. They're paying for me to go to the Close-up Program in Washington D.C for 7 days in January staying at the Hilton Alexandria Resort with my AP US History Class: $1300
and they WANTED to pay for all of this...I didn't even want to go to the Close-Up Program at first but they kinda coerced me into going...
and I cant wait for the band trip to Los Angeles next weekend

its like christmas gets less fun as u get older.i mean u still get stuff and all that but it turns into more spending time wit fam other than jus gettin presents like when u were younger.

Cosigning both of those statements. I dont expect too much from Christmas..Im too old to be worrying about what gifts Ima get and whatnot. Its just about spending the quality time with family. And I feel you Meya on the MC Christmas Album....thats the best Christmas cd EVER. I could listen to it year around. Talking about it got me here singing it in my head.

before i had my daughter i lost my christmas spirit...it was when i moved to Florida i lost it...i was so used to having snow and bla bla bla,i dont usually wear shorts and tanks during christmas :? (only in florida :roll: )so anywho, now that i have my baby, i got that christmas spirit again...she's lucky she was born around christmas time cuz she just gets more gifts...i love seeing her face too...so confused not knowing what's going on...but she'll be 2 and now she's starting to ask for stuff like toys... :roll:
