me & my friends were talkin about this some dayz ago....
could u ever picture yourself being literally homeless on the street?
i mean...well no one pictures themself homeless in advance...but do you think this is something that can be avoided??
this is what we were saying....a lot of people on the street (NOT ALL - MANY) are that way because their pride wouldn't allow them to ask family members, friends, etc. etc....for hand-outs, places to stay, etc. etc...
MY thing is THIS....i have a LOT of pride...& i'll admit, sometimez it getz me into trouble & i tend to be very thick-skulled about some thangz...
but this is one thing i could truthfully say i would NEVER let my pride lead to....esPECially if i have a family to take into consideration (& it ain't just me)....
how could u be too proud & embarassed to come to those close to you or those you know, but not too proud to stand out on the side of the street with a "i need food" sign in front of thousands of people everyday?!?!?
of course, there are so many circumstances that lead to homelessness....but this is speaking mostly on those who, in my opinion, don't have to be in that situation....or in other words, shoulda told their pride 2 SHUT THA HELL UP 4 2 secz...
