Does anyone else here believe that the Bible is hilarious?
God smited people for skeeting on the ground, King David **** some guy so he could bone his wife and one guy rapes his sister and desecrates her. You can't get more vile in a book!
THIS BOOK IS AWESOME.
So, this I made this post for religious debates because I am considerably bored and Christianity is the easiest to pick on since it's so broken. Who here studies...and I mean STUDIED...the bible?

I'll poke all the fun at the Bible I want, want to know why?
Because it's a load of inconsistancies. The Bible portrays Jesus as someone that is FAR from what Jesus "The Man" was.
Half the Bible is totally ripped from the Buddhist scripture and writings of Essene Jews...or any other Jewish sect. Infact, Jesus may not even have ever lived. If you care to listen and not rant any Bible leadings, I would gladly post why I came to that conclusion.
Of course it is not my idea at first, another poster from a different board made all of these connections which is rather startling to say the least.

It's funny how people go out of the way to discredit something *smh*. The bible is a guide to show you how to live your daily life...Whatever you don't understand about it is probably your own fault. That's why you go to church or a place of worship to have things explained to you. How many of you step inside a church on sunday's?!?!
now im not one to make fun of the bible mostly because my stepdad is a pastor (although i can say were not that close)so i was goin to church EVERY sunday which was gettin on my nerves sometimes.sometiems im like can i get a break??
of course i have some objection to a lot of things being said by my boy thunder here but hey thats your opinion and i cant get mad at you for havin your own stance on a subject.but i just know that the reason that christianity gets looked down upon a lot is because there are a lot of people that "say" they are christians but dont really follow the teachings and whatnot.some people will be drinkin and doin whatever on saturday night, and three hours later be in church callin themselves prasin the Lord.thats what gets me heated sometimes.jus my two cents
