so like...I may be going to Tuskegee next year because I received a full scholarship last week...I toured the campus and I REALLY liked it...and TU is also my father's alma mater...but I'm trying to decide between UGA and Tuskegee (I know one particular person is looking at this in disbelief lol)...and I don't know what to do...
QUESTIONS:
1) How would I go about getting into the Honors program
2) What's the best/worst male dorm
3) I've been playing my horn for 7 years (symphony,jazz,and marching) and I really want to continue playing trombone in college...I just need some more info on the ensembles at Tuskegee...I've seen the marching band already...yea...but I just refuse to stop playing my horn
4) I walked through the science building (I'll be a bio/pre-med major) and the labs/classrooms looked OLD...are ALL of the facilities like that or is it just that building...just asking lol...
5) Is there ANYTHING to do in the town of Tuskegee or do people go to Auburn for off-campus entertainment (I've heard about Soul Inn and Harrison's...)
6) How is the student body...alot of thugs, nerds, etc.? or is it a mixture...
any answers/advice would be greatly appreciated because I'm REALLY considering going to TU...but I like UGA also...I may PM some of y'all too...
If your going to Tuskegee....DO NOT!!!! I MEAN, DO NOT!!!!! GET CINGULAR WIRELESS...everything else works but Cingular in Tuskegee.

TMobile has Ulimited Nights and Weekends and 1000 anytime minutes for 40 bucks a month....while i only get 450 anytime and 5000 night and weekend with Cinuglar...I swear..I'm canning my contract this summer and switching to T-Mobile...I just gotta chop some more months down cause of that "However many months you have left x $10.00 to can the contract"

ok...so how early should I apply to get into Younge?...and what makes Younge so much better than the rest?? I'm assuming they don't have pictures of the other dorms on the site for a reason ****...I only saw the outside of the dorms when I visited...and do they actually use the room mate survey when matching room mates? how accurate are they?
lol...and why does everyone say all of these bad things about Skegee but say that they love it and miss it dearly lol...ok so lemme ask...

check your PM's. and about the younge thing its a first come first served i heard yall are a big class coming in for 2006 when i was down there for the fall semester. So i suggest you make sure its in as soon as u get the form, and they pretty accurate with roommates from what i hear. and tuskegee NEVER lets the incoming students see the inside of the dorm, cause honestly if u did u wouldnt want to come anymore unless it was your last resort. and when you get here you will find out from over 75-8 0% of the students that tuskegee was not there first choice lol real talk

Does anyone know how Tuskegee awards the Thurgood Marshall Scholarship? I applied a couple of weeks ago and still haven't heard anything. I know they have received my app though. :???:
