Looking at the growing number of candidates for the Democratic nomination, it is clear to me that the race is really between Obama and Clinton. Everyone else is really shoved to the side. It would take a monumental downfall for these two to not be 1-2 in the running. In this case, it would lead voters to vote for the following for President:
1.) Be led by a woman
2.) Be led by a black man
3.) Vote Republican
I still do not think America will want the country to be led by a woman. I do not mean to sound male chauvinistic or anything, but that is what I feel.
And let's face it, women had the right to vote waaay before they let any black folk do it, man or woman.
And then there's the Republican vote. The last 2 Republican Presidents led us to war, with the more recent one, seemingly not knowing what he is doing.
So what will the average Joe (*I mean white America*) do when they have to make that choice? I would be very curious to see what the outcome would be, especially the traditional Democratic voting white male.
As for the above mentioned person, I am reminded of a clip from Brewsters Millions when he told the People to vote None Of The Above.

PRAISE THE LORD!!!
My vote goes to Obama. I don't believe a woman should be in control of our nation. A woman shouldn't have that much power over men. I like a lot of the things that Obama stands for. I understand that a lot of candidates are saying a lot of different things and we can all make good points for each and everyone of them. Politics is Politics, you're always going to have people saying one thing and doing something else once they get into office. Right now it's about the votes and they know it. Once they are in office they already have the votes and we just have to wait and see what are they going to do. I'm voting for Obama because out of all of the candidates and all of the issues, he is the best choice for ME!!! I can't speak for nobody else!!! Plus republican just aint in me!!!

I've seen a lot of posts saying that they should take all the troops out of Iraq, and I'm all for that. But for the U.S. to withdraw completely this far in the war would probably be catastrophic for the Middle Eastern nation. The U.S. 'helped' to overthrow a President and reinstate a democratic government. Besides, to withdraw completely now, would mean 3 very bad things for the U.S.
1. Admitting that the war was unnecessary, and that it gave up more than 30,000 American soldiers lives (...and still counting).
2. Ending the 'state of emergency' that the U.S. is in, and therefore,
3. Ending the Patriot Act, which gives the U.S. the right to invade our privacy: (reading our mail, our e-mails, and listening to our phone conversations). So at this point, when voting, it's really just voting for the lesser of two evils. And I've seen what 'experience' can do. I'd rather just take a risk with Obama.
A woman of my own mind...
Trust and believe the U.S. will find anyway to monitor and control its citizens and turn this"Land of the Free" into a the Land of the Fascist and Authoritarianism.
