I JUST WANTED SOME OPINIONS ON THE CONCEPTION OF VIDEO GIRLS. I WAS SURPRISED WHEN SOME CLOSE FRIENDS OF MINES SAID THEY WANTED TO BE VIDEO GIRLS. SOME PEOPLE THINK ITS GOOD SOME THINK ITS ****.
I WOULD BE IN ONE BUT I WOULD HAVE TO SERVE A PURPOSE (not kiss no chains or dance with a bikini on) I WOULD HAVE TO BE LIKE THE BEYONCE IN CASE'S VIDEO. I have been offered to be in one but i declined.
Most videos are a just a reflection of the lyrics. Fact of the matter is, we glorify shallow and superficial songs, so i wouldn't expect the videos of those songs to be any different. The videos are made carelessly with no storyline, premise, or purpose. If the song doesn't have a purpose, the video doesn't have a purpose, then the females in the video won't have a purpose either.
I have finally come to the conclusion to each their own. I read about alot of the video girls and a lot of them have some things going for themselves. I can't disrespect them. I wish some would make better choices as to what they do in the video.

yea i saw that episode....but that's just one rapper out of a million....but even still it's nice to see and hear that some artists do want to make a change and go against the norm of what society sees as "beautiful" and appealing....

I havent seen the video yet nor have I heard to song but I'll go on launch later and watch it. I thought that the dark skin girl in the Mario W. "I dont wanna know" video was beautiful. I think she is the same chick in the donnell jone's "Where I wanna be Video". I think those videos stayed in my head because they didnt do the typical "light skin girl as the lead"thing
yeah I don't like it when people use that good hair term when people have curly easily slick down hair or whatever you wanna call it. I have natural hair and people always tell me how pretty it is when I have afro puffs and how they wish they had my hair. As long as you got hair coming out ya head and it aint breaking off and looking tow up its good hair.
