I like our Mascot(s)... people in the band understand what Im talkin bout... But I would have to say ( and I will prolly regret that Im sayin this) The Norfolk Spartan is the funniest mascot I have ever seen... that negro be foolin!!!

So, all this talk on the 5thquarter.com about vuu's band not active is false? All of the sympathy and support they are/were receiving on there is for nothing? Is that what you are saying? Even though one person made the post, it was confirmed by others at vuu (ONES IN THE ACTUAL MUSIC PROGRAM), as well as others in the band community.
But hey, im willing to admit when I was wrong, if all this RECENT talk on that site is all totally false, then I digress. Otherwise, I look forward to hearing the (pots and pans :wink: ) sounds of vuu marching band storming into your nice stadium this football season.
Other than the band issues, their successful athletics in DII (have no prob givin props when they are due) and their campus :roll: , i really dont know much abou vuu, never said i did, and don't really care too. Guess no one at HIU ever had a reason to mention vuu, and other than to replying to your comments.....STILL DONT.
BTW vuu has history just like most HISTORICALLY black colleges & Universities. I thought Lincoln Univ was the first ever, and being from Ral, I know that Shaw U was the first black school in the South.
