Well personally, I think we are gonna tap that a$$. Lol. Just playing. That is like our biggest rival besides Howard. I think we have a pretty good chance of winning and we also need to redeem ourself from that loss last week. Man...my heart was hurting behind that. But who ya'll think...Hampton or Norfolk State?

There is never an upset for NSU when it comes to football. There are only reality checks. I didn't go to the battlae of the bands, but I know at the game I was not impressed by Hampton's band  . There were even some Hampton students saying that the band wasn't all that great.
WELL WE WERE NOT IMPRESSED BY NSU YOU KNOW WHY?! BECAUSE THEY MIMICK EVERY FRICKIN THING THAT WE DO. IF YOU DON'T THINK WE PLAYED WELL YOU NEED TO GET YOUR EARS CLEANED. AND THERE WERE SOME NSU STUDENTS THAT TOTALLY THINKED WE KICK YALL **** FOOTBALL TEAM AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE BAND!!!!
I don't care which band imitates each other it all depends on who sounded better to me, and that would be "drum roll please".....NSU. Hampton did the worst rendition of "Neck" that I have ever heard. Whoever doesn't think our football team got whooped is stupid anyway, so you proved nothing with that comment. As far as the band you did nuthin that compared to NSU, so if you please move on.

Hats off to NSU...yall **** it tonight. i must admit yall rocked the house...you even had the Hampton people standing up and cheering yall on. HU...yall was kinda weak. some of the sectionals were bad. I was upset at the Sax's. Yall could have done better but congrats to NSU..yall got that...but tommorow at the game...its gonna be different
GIRL ARE YOU CRAZY OR JUST ****!? NSU DID NOT **** ANYTHING WELL MAYBE THEIR DANCERS. YOU MUST NOT HAVE ANY MUSICAL INCLINATION. YOU MUST BE DEAF TOO BECAUSE NSU YOU COMPLETELY COPIED OUR STYLE SONGS AND FANFARES FOR EXAMPLE THE BARITONES "SHAI" FANFARE WHICH WAS A SUPRISED TRIBUTE TO BARNEY E. SMART! BUT THEN AGAIN YOU WOULDN'T KNOW ANYTHING . YOU REALLY NEED TO WATCH YOUR MOUTH IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. SO HONEY LEAVE THIS TO THE PROFESSIONALS ! YOU KNOW THE PEOPLE THAT WERE ACTUALLY IN THE BATTLE OF THE BANDS. THANK YOU AND GOODNIGHT.
hey sweetie...before you say anything...find ya facts out...hell yes i am musically inclined...i have been playing instruments for the past 10 years. so i know whats going on in the music world...and i am entitled to my opinion like i said earlier so dont jump on my back with that sh!t. And im not the only person who felt that the band could have done better friday night. I never said yall was horrible, but like 1st lady said...alot of hampton people was cheering for NSU...so dont talk to me like im the only person here saying stuff...so thankYOU and HOLLA

Personally I think that the song selection could have been better. The Isley Bros. tune was not really recognized by the people who don't listen to old school. Neck was good, especially with the breaks in the middle. All bands copy each other so que cera/whatever. But I do admit that Hot Ice did the darn thing and cut Ebony Fire. As for the people booing each other's band or their own, that's just down disrespectful as the Force is trying to honor the memory of the past Band Director. The season is dedicated to the memory of this man. Then the announcer, said that there should be no booing, all those who were booing should have been escorted off the premises or had their ID taken. But anyway, about those who were in the band that did not hear, I was in the crowd and I heard it all and just sat there among the disreputables of HU and NSU. The band is not there just to entertain the public and the football team, those are some of the hardest working people I know, so I give props to the Spartan Legion and the Marching Force, ya'll both came with it. I heard about why the Legion had to leave, hope everything went well.

i do agree...the booing was not nessecary at all. i would never boo our band. Im suprised i noticed when they played that Isly Bro. song...well with the help of other people. Both bands were good tho dont get me wrong in my past posts in here. i have much respect for both. and didnt NSU have another performance to go to?? thats what i heard
