Football Camp> Band Camp Band Members come back when you run 2.5 miles a day not including the chest and arm workouts on Mon,Wed,Friday and doing a leg workouts on Tuesday and til you puke while being on Muscle Supplements such as Whey protein and Creatine 5 times a week.... All I can say is... Pain is weakness leaving the body :x
I am sorry to burst your little ego bubble there.(no I dont) but I have played football in high school as well as college. I went to colle at Alfred stsae in NY it was a junior college then got recrutied to play at Michigan State. That aint nothing so when you wake up at 5am to push barrels of hay through the snow and run 1000 meter repeats till you puke blood. Not to mention a weight session all this before class and after class go to track practice. Oh yeah doing football workouts on the day oftrack meets too. I transferred to Nsu cause I had to come home andtake care of my mother so I lost my eligibility. I have been through band and let me tell you we may not go through the workout as physically as you do but we practice a hellof alot more than you. you practice what 2-3 hours a day try practicing 6-7 and during the summer 18 hours a day 7 days a week. Try again football guy

these rookies dont understand that they cant be sayin what band they plan on being in. You dont say you a future Legion member you dont know if you gonna make my band yet. *neck* congrats your first neck help me out Vets can we neck all the rookies in here.
Why? I don't see why I can't tell no one I'm trying out for band. It's just like trying out for a sport. So I don't see the big deal. It's nothing like tryna get in a fraternity or sorority.
See that where you asre wrong. You have a CRAB way of thinking. The Band is a SACRED orginization. You have to give blood sweat and tears. You also will go through some mentally challenging situations and if you cant deal then you will break. You dont know what it takes to be in the band CRAB but you will soon find out. you cant associate yourself in anyway shape or form to an orginization that you have not been apart of its like saying (in your case) I wanna be a DELTA. you cant walk around saying that. You cant walk around saying I wanna be a _________ or im going to be in ________'s BAND. I wish you were comming to Norfolk!!!! WE DONT DRINK AND WE DONT SMOKE NORFOLK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay I see what you're saying...but I'm still gonna represent!....j/k.....but I can't help that I think like a crab! I am a CRAB!  ...But thanks for the insight....but I'm sure I canmake it through band camp...got too much riding on it. And o yeah...I'm GLAD I'm going to Skegee.
Well TECHNICALLY you are an incoming freshman ...you wont be a crab until your first day of camp.... its okay...most people dont have people like us to tell them that, and they get it hard... you saw Drumline...its nothing like that..lol
You are totally right. I don't have anyone to really tell me. SO thanks for your advice and knowledge. LAMO @ the drumline...I thought that it was going to be just like drumilne kinda...all pain the first week and fun throughout the semester...but someone told me all work the first week and continuation of work throughout the semester along with some fun. Well I have a 2 weeks till band camp....wish me luck!

As an incoming freshman- that good C/O 2008- once my school, (or anyone else's), takes that financial aide money, housing deposits/dorm fees, my parents & I start buying all the shyt (you know those microwaves, dish sets, comforters n soap, etc.) I then obtain the right to say "WE" & "US", and to take it a step further after looking at my check book, checking acount & purse and realizing that the "summer savings" really isn't as much as I thought it would be, I can even use the words, "THEM", "THEY", & "YA'LL", as in to say "THEM", "THEY", & "YA'LL" SUCK!!!...but thats just the opinion of a "bottom of the barrel" freshman... its all in love... 8)
