Hi everyone I have decided that I will attend HU in the fall. I was hoping to get to know a few people and learn more about life at the real HU. It would be great to know both the bad and the good. What will the dorms be like? If you recieved a scholarship do you live in a honors dorm? What is the biology program like? I would like to know everything. I would appreciate any help that anyone could possible give. You can post or e-mail me personally. I would love to find a friend who I could get to know prior to arriving to campus in August.

You answered your own question.
Peace being offered to those intent on war makes no sense to those who are all about the drama.
I sincerely extend my wish that God Bless You because your post was filled with hate, rage and anger. Surely while we are discussing one of God's blessings (HU) you don't mean to sound like the devil right?
I am so glad that I do not know everything. I, like you, am only posting just a tiny tiny bit of what I know about Life at Howard.
Did you attend HU? Have you anything to post about that? That would be helpful for those who pull this thread. That is again, just my opinion.
I am so heated with this school I could scream.
Now I have to sitdown and write and e-mail and explain my case to the COAS. The lady EM office did not help any she actually made it worse.
Then she tels me I do have a studnet number it just hasn't been given to me yet. But wh :x

it happens to the best of us.....hold on though
make sure you stay on top of your game
Thanks 4 the encouragement
I am trying to remain calm
no problem you know you always have to encourage one another
i always here people sayin...this and that about what's wrong or what they haven't done for them it hasn't happened to me yet really (knock on wood)
but i mean if you call and keep on top of things....minus an attitude even if they give you one...they'll get you right
Kuntri Girl:
Try and get centered...
On your letter. Repeat back EVERYTHING that was said in your conversation. Put time and dates on all conversations that you mention in your letter. You said e-mail. "CC" the superior or appropriate Dean for the department.
Mail, by certified letter, a copy of your e-mail to the same individuals.
Follow-up, follow-up and then follow-up some more. After no more than 2 weeks have an adult or two begin the follow-up and finalization process with you. This works. Two to three folks calling on your behalf will get you moved up for immediate resolution...

^^^Do not listen to the above poster. This is obviously some idiot with nothing better to do with there time than to discourage people from attending one of the nations top universities. To all of those having administrative issues, don't get discouraged. College Mom gave some good advice, use it. PM me if you have any questions about HU. I'm a recent grad and I've seen it go from pretty bad to adequate, plus I know how to get things done. Good luck at HU.
