What's up people? I go to Alabama State U, and I think the SWAC conference is liver than the MEAC. Tell me what yall think. Holla at ya boy 205 representin!
^^^This is very true. When you mention SWAC, the only schools that people mention is Grambling and Southern. The MEAC always makes you think about FAMU, Hampton, A&T, BCC, and Howard. It's just that simple, the MEAC has the names.
MEAC HAS A NAME FOR ACADEMICS....... NOT FOR FOOTBALL..... NO ONE ACTUALLY TAKES HOWARD OR HAMPTON FOOTBALL SERIOUSLY...
I MEAN GRAMBLING PLAYED A NATIONALLY TELEVISED GAME ON ESPN 2.... THE BAYOU CLASSIC IS PLAYED ON NBC (NOT MBC BUT NBC)... AND THE SWAC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME IS AIRED ON ABC (NOT MBC BUT ABC)..............
PEOPLE THINK ABOUT FAMU IN THE MEAC FOR ATHLETICS THAT IS IT....NO ONE GIVES A DAMN ABOUT WHO IS THE REAL HU.... U TALKING BOUT THE NAMES.... U LISTED STATS THAT THE SWAC DOMINATES THE MEAC IN.... I MEAN LOOK AT DEFENSE... WHO IN THE MEAC HAS A BETTER DEFENSE THAN ALABAMA A&M..... WHO HAD A BETTER PASSING GAME THAN GRAMBLING OR A BETTER OFFENSE THAN SOUTHERN.... THE MEAC IS GARBAGE AND WILL NEVER GET RESPECT OUTSIDE OF THE MEAC..FACE IT..... THE MEAC IS A BAND AND BASKETBALL CONFERENCE.. STICK TO WHAT YOU KNOW....YALL BEAT JSU IN OUR WORST YEAR EVER..BUT GOT YALL **** KICKED BY SOUTHERN AND FAMU GOT THEY HEAD BUSTED BY ALABAMA ST...
u may have bragging rights... but overall the MEAC is a weak conference...
If we're so weak, then hop on over to the NCAA football site and see where SWAC schools stood with MEAC schools along with everybody else in team rankings and see what they have to say about it. :wink:
