Can we bring back the prayer request thread? Just state what your request is and believe and have faith that your prayers will be answered. If your fellow thread surfers don't pray for you it's ok because the Lord can read. When two or three are gathered together in my name..... (can someone finish this verse?)

PRAISE THE LORD!!! Since nobody else wants to touch this thread, I will!!! My prayer request is for the soldiers fighting in Iraq and their families that are waiting in anticipation. The Lord is going to have his way in every situation anyway, I just want to lift them up in prayer.

Alright, I know I am not the only one worried or concerned about our next president. I pray that the right one wins. The one that is going to make a positive difference in this country. The one that will recognize that there are less fortunate people in the world and will create opportunities for them.

PRAISE THE LORD!!! I was thinking about that, but I realized that the next president is being picked by the world and I'm just going to pray that the Lord increases my faith and trust in him to be able to deal with whatever situation comes along. I don't know how many people REALLY realize that we are living in the last days and in the bible it talks about how the world is suppose to get worse. The fight over seas is in the bible pertaining to the last days if you really pay attention. This was one of the signs to let you know that the end is near. There are certain things that are suppose to take place to let you know that the return of Jesus is close. I pray for the President and the future president. I know that God's will is going to be done no matter who is in the White House.

I think of someone getting in that powerful position with a different kind of faith and changing things drastically. Even Cowboy President Bush mentions God every now and then. But this new guy, Obama, really concerns me. I shouldn't judge him according to his name but I do. I'm not a Bible guru but I know somethings that the Bible states and what I've been taught in church and I just pray even more. His will will be done regardless.

PRAISE THE LORD!!! I understand your concern about the future with the next president, that's why it's our job to make sure that we are ready...come what may!!! As far as Obama, I have been paying attention to him and he does have morals, which is important to me. He believes and stands for a lot of things that is going to change our society. What he does once he gets in office is a different story. That's why I plan on making sure that I'm right with God and pleasing him. I have to make sure that I am willing to go all the way with Jesus, because the next president might be the one to destroy all bibles and punish Christians for their beliefs. WHO KNOWS???

PRAISE THE LORD!!! My prayer request is for the teachers of the world and the youth that they are teaching. With the way the shootings are going on in school, any body could be "here today and gone tomorrow!!!"

"...Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: 11 And great earthquarkes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven..."

-Luke 21:10-11

It does warn us in the Bible that things must come to pass in the last days. It is very noticeable that we are in living in the last days. My prayer request is for everybody on this earth; the good people and the bad people. It's hard not to pray for everyone. There are so many people I know and don't know who go through a struggle in their everyday life, but still manage to keep a smile on their faces. That is really hard to do. However, seeing that they can manage to sustain a portion of hope and faith that there will be a better day helps motivate me to want to try to do the same. I pray that all of you college students, and I, will earn the degree we are seeking and be able to live a lucrative, yet humble life, not forgetting who we get our blessings from. I also pray that those who may not be stiving to have anything in life will have a change of heart to atleast do God's will on this earth. Thanks for this thread. It is very refreshing.
