Getting Into Tuskegee Posted on 11-13-2007

Okay so I was wondering does Tuskegee accept students from high school who dont meet the requirement of having a gpa of a 3.0 and the SAT?AT requirements? because my gpa is not a 3.0 and I forgot what SAT score you need. I am involved in extracurricular activities but I am just scared that since my gpa is lower than what they expect, my chances of getting in might be low. So can someone tell me what else they look at besides your gpa?

I'm currently a student at Tuskegee University. I think it's wonderful that you are considering Tuskegee as your future college. Don't worry yourself. Tuskegee will not deny you just because you don't meet the requirements. They want a well rounded student. Unless your g.p.a is like below 2.0 I don't think Tuskegee will deny you. They accept students, who don't meet requirements, on a conditional basis to the University. This means that you have to have a certain g.p.a by the end of your freshman year in order to be in good academic standing with the University. Your particular major may have additional requirements in order for you to admitted into your major. As far as scholarships, you will have to be out and beyond the general requirements. Let me know if you have further questions.
