T-Boz, Chilli signing on for reality show to document their search.

Some two years after the death of Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, the surviving members of TLC are moving on — by putting together a reality show to find her replacement.
Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas are signing on the dotted line this week with FOX Television Studios, sources familiar with the deal say, for a show that would document their search for a new member to join them for recordings and possibly a televised concert. The show does not yet have a network commitment nor a premiere date. Details are expected next week.
Following Lopes' passing, T-Boz and Chilli completed the fourth TLC album, 3D, without her, but made sure to pay tribute to their friend by using her previously recorded vocals in five of the songs. They also incorporated a few Left Eye-inspired images, such as the painted black mark under the eye as well as her name on clothes and clubs, in their videos for "Girl Talk" and "Hands Up."
The group played what was to be its farewell concert — despite shouting out that "TLC is forever" on the 3D song "Dirty Dirty" — seven months after the album's release (see "TLC Say Goodbye, Beleaguered Ja Rule Basks In Limelight At Zootopia Show").
"We take it video by video and project by project," T-Boz told MTV News at the time. "Lisa isn't here — that's reality. It's not easy to come up with how to incorporate her."

Maaan....anyone who knows me knows that this is without doubt my favorite female music group of all time...I just love these girls so much...
But I was just SO spoiled from them being a trio consisting of T-Boz, Chilli, and LEFTEYE....&...I don't know...
My mom is tha one who 1st told me about this a few days ago, and I wasn't excited at all...in fact, I was a lil disappointed...'cause the original-TLC fan in me just....couldn't grasp this so easily...THEY SAID THEY WOULDN'T REPLACE HER AND TLC WAS DONE :cry: :cry: :cry:!
But my mom was sayin' that it'll be nice to see MCs tryin' out to take up that space in the group and that they couldn't just let the group die musically 'cause of one member....and I GUESS that's true...but still :?
It will be interesting to see a reality show of female MCs, I suppose....I guess I'll give it a shot....

I agree with AKA, you cant replace a star. Left Eye cannot be replaced. Secondly, TLCs career is over in my opinion if you ask me. They should just leave on a good note, instead of replacing Lisa makin a record that is mediocre and not having the same credibility they had before getting this new girl...

lol ya'll r jus too hilarious...
i don't think it's that at all...i think they're just not finished musically and want to continue pursuing their passion publicly (*sp)....
not ta mention...we all know tha situation with Chilli & her former honey (Usher), as well as T-Boz and hers (Mack 10)....and I'm sure some of ya'll can relate on tryin' to get over loves....this probably will keep their minds occupied tremendously...'staed of jus' sittin' around tha house, raisin' "familes" as single mothers :?....
but anyway....as a long-time TLC fan...this is a lil hard 4 me too....but....guess they gotta do what they gotta do....& wanna do...& on the much brighter side, as my mom has countlessly tried to convince me, at least they're giving some really talented, yet nameless, girl a time to shine and be prosperous!
