AIIGHT...so i'm @ the mall the other day shoppin' for a bday gift 4 one of my peoplez...i go into Sam Goodiez & start lookin' around... i run up on this book w/ an ALL-GOLD COVER (FRONT & BACK) & WHITE LETTERS, which read "TUPAC" on the front & "SHAKUR" on the back... i 1ST didn't get it, but came back be4 I left the mall to do so...got it for my mother ('cuz she's an even bigger Pac fan than I am)... so she looks @ it front thru back...which took about 2 or so hourz....then I began looking thru it & still am... basically, the book consists of Pac's words once spoken verbally @ some point or another, but now put in print on paper....consists of his poetry...written lyrics on notebook paper....letters to various friends & family members...court documents...written plans for his future & career...along w/ pics of himself (from waaaaay back in his infant days up until that last pic of him & Suge ridin' in the car in Vegas)...pics of some of his family members & friends (some celebs, some not)... & IT IS SOOOOOOOOOOOO INTERESTING!!!! REGARDLESS AS TO WHETHER YOU LOVE PAC, ONLY LIKE HIM, HATE ON HIM, SLEEP ON HIM, or whatEVa....EVERYONE NEEDS TO PEEP THIS BOOK IF THEY GET THE CHANCE.... i was already HEAVILY intrigued by the man's words, his style, his flare & charisma, etc....but this book just shed a new light into the person he was... man, i wish everyone knew about this book...

now when i hear there's a new tupac this out or a tupac that out, i get kinda weary cuzzzz...ummm..i guess im just sick of hearing it, i mean the book does sound interesting and i might check it out just because...but from the outside looking in at the Tupac after death appeal..it seemed to me to be somewhat of an obsession among fans, i could be wrong and i would love for someone to correct me...but that's just what i gathered. I just dont wanna read the books and see the movies and get the c.d.s and end up feeling like it's just the same thing packaged differently..

i feel what cha sayin'... i mean, I guess when u r really a fan of a celeb &, in the case of music, u still listen to their music (see their films, etc.) years after they passed & it still seem as if they are alive...ya can't help but to still supporting their work...& take interest in things like this... & truthfully...I haven't even seen "Tupac: Resurrection" just yet....my mom is gonna just buy the dvd soon, so I'll check it out then...but i could see the book i purchased being the print equivalent of that film/documentary...& i don't even carrrrre! lol...i don't know - he's just really interesting to me & regardless of how it's packaged, i still tend to be just as intrigued every time...
