Pairs skater lands face first on the iceBy JOE MANDAKPITTSBURGH - World champion pairs skater Tatiana Totmianina
was released from the hospital Sunday, a day after sustaining a
concussion in a fall during the free skating program at Skate America.
Totmianina fell to the ice Saturday night when partner Maxim Marinin
was performing a one-handed lift.
Speaking to reporters from a wheelchair at Mercy Hospital on Sunday,
Totmianina said she has little memory of anything that happened
Saturday, including her accident.
She sported a bruise on her right eye, but joked with journalists about
the move that led to her injury.
