We are excited to announce that we are offering one $1,000 scholarship to a Black high school senior who will enter college in Fall 2021! We understand that every dollar counts, and want to provide a student with the opportunity to create one less worry as they begin their college journey. Included with the scholarship is our College Roadmap, a customized college plan based on your school, major and goals to help you get the most value out of your education.

Eligibility Requirements:

- Must currently hold a 2.75 unweighted, cumulative GPA or higher
- High school senior at the time of submitting the application
- Planning to attend a U.S., four-year college/university in Fall 2021
- Be of Black or African American descent
- Can demonstrate leadership and community service involvement

Instructions:

1) Please complete the application.
2) In a separate Word document, answer the following in 300-500 words for each question:

How do you plan to get the most value out of your college education?
What is your definition of success?

3) Upload the following documents within the application:

Essay responses
Unofficial high school transcript(s)

4) Please have two letters of recommendations sent to inquirescholarships@gmail.com directly from your recommenders. Please have them include your name and "Fall 2021" in the subject line.

Deadline to submit ALL application materials is April 30th, 2021 by 11:59pm PST.
