Hello everyone! I'm new to the boards. Just wondering first of all, which HBCUs have the most school spirit? I know many questions about spirit squads go unanswered, but I plan to coach cheerleading, so it seems only logical to me that I'm concerned about who really gets down with the spirit. For someone who plans to make a career coaching cheerleaders, any suggestions on any HBCUs that I might look into? Any schools with a degree in cheerleading lol ? Hey someone's gotta do it!
Hello everybody this is Christasia. I am now even more curious about school spirit. 'Cause I've heard that some HBCUs don't know how to hold it down with the school spirit. It doesn't have to neccessarily be cheerleading. Just ANY school spirit. But I want to know about which HBCU knows how to represent and how. So if you know how to represent let me know on the board. Hey wasup? I think almost all HBCU's or at least the ones I have visited have some form of school spirit. A lot of the HBCU's have their own individual trademark chants and what not as well of the typical cheering. FAMU has this Rattler Strike thing they do and it's scary at first but it's coo. I know here at Hampton, our games are always hype. Mainly because of the cheerleaders, football, band, fans, and just crazy people who are always around. We do this chant called Rock the Blue and White and each class represents it and then we do it as a school. I would say the hypest game I have been to so far is the game between our rivals Howard. That game was so much fun and we were all hype cheering our team to victory. But all in all I think all HBCU's have a lot of school spirit.
Hey everybody again! This is Christasia wondering how your college has been? Is the spirit still around, 'cause it sure doesn't seem like it. There must be a lot of pretty corny schools out there, cause there ain't NOBODY REPRESENTIN' :!: There has got to be some people out there that can represent there school with just a few words? Let me and the rest of the world know that your school can represent! Holla!
The only word to describe CAU is crunk. We generally aren't that concerned about the cheerleaders, we only watch em when they stunt or battle with other squads, it's all about the bands! The Spirit Boosters (lil pep club) are madd crunk too tho. CAU is about as crunk as we can get with loosing teams
