My dad and his people have been given me a lot of negative information and opinions about males with ear piercings and the such. I was wondering what are yalls views on ear piercings for males and how many holes a dude should have in either ear.
He believes it doesn't good in the professional field since I'm going in the medical field. And since he from Nigeria, where he from they don't do that type of stuff,that it not in his culture, he called it taboo. When I got both of my ears pierced, he was very mad at me for doing it and told me to take them out. Since he don't stay with me anymore, I still wear them without him knowing. But they look good on me, and I can always take them out. Though it not apart of Igbo culture, I am also American, so Imma keep them in.
What do yall think about two holes in both ears each for men? I've seen a few people rock this. (Fabolous for instance)
Eventually all taboos get wiped out, sometimes for bad. Used to be 1 stud was ok, depending on which ear. Then 2 rings were cool, then 2 danglers and a nose ring, then 4 earrings, 2 eyebrows, 1 labret wtf?, 3 nipples... :lol:
I read this story where in the future **** implants became like jewelry: cheap & easy to put in & take out, you have to get some for special occasions, etc. Eventually, men start wearing them: at first just 1 small **** that nobody notices, then a bigger one, then 2 medium ones...
As for Ibo Nigerian culture, my dad didn't make a fuss when my little brother pierced his own ears. He was more annoyed with the cornrows. Now, when he stole more earrings to put in the holes... my dad beat his fool ****.
don't think i've ever noticed two in both on a dude either...
but maybe i just never paid attention...
but i do notice when it's just one in each, and that really does look good on most dudes...
& i really don't c guys rockin' the small hoops anymore....
i c waaaaaay more studs, both big & small...& they always look good on 'em...

I need to get my ear re-pierced... i miss having an earring in my ear
i always wanted to get my other ear pierced... i got my left ear at age 11, wore it for like 8 years... my mom said wait til i'm 18 to get the other one pierced.... i'm 20 now... 8)
