Well personally, I think we are gonna tap that a$$. Lol. Just playing. That is like our biggest rival besides Howard. I think we have a pretty good chance of winning and we also need to redeem ourself from that loss last week. Man...my heart was hurting behind that. But who ya'll think...Hampton or Norfolk State?

Football: Probably Hampton. HU has the best overall and conference stats this season, while NSU has near the worst. In the Spartans' defense, though, they have a really good defensive line, and good D can win games. Bands: Hard to say. The F.O.R.C.E. is a lot deeper this year and under new leadership, plus Al Davis can write some crazy arrangements. I have a feeling the Legion will be on point, as usual. Either way it's gonna be a good showdown. Holla!

WELL AFTER GOIN TO THA BATTLE OF THE BANDS TONIGHT, I AM HIGHLY UPSET. I'M SORRY MY FELLOW HAMPTONIANS BUT I HONESTLY FEEL LIKE HAMPTON DIDN'T COME WITH IT. THE ****NSU WAS PLAYIN WAS ON POINT AND THE DANCELINE WAS WAY BETTER THAN OURS. IT **** BECAUSE WE HAD THE "HOME COURT ADVANTAGE" AND NSU WAS STILL ABLE TO PUT US TO SHAME. BUT ON THE SAME TIP BIG UPS TO OUR BAND BECAUSE I KNOW THAT I COULDN'T GET UP THERE AND PLAY, PLUS THEY HAD HEART  ... AS FOR TOMORROW, WE WILL REDEEM OURSELVES, BY BLOWING NSU OUT DURING THE FOOTBALL GAME! I WILL BE THERE SUPPORTING OUR TEAM AS WELL AS THE BAND.

NSU was very good but I got to give it up to The Force. Yall improved so much this year. Yall did great and I was very proud of yall. Keep up the good work! The dance gimmick NSU pulled kinda won it for them. When did they get dudes on the danceteam, but anyways for all the things they have gone through with the death of Mr. Smart and new leadership I think they did good for the siuation. But I think next year it's gonna be on because it will Mr. Davis' band.

There is never an upset for NSU when it comes to football. There are only reality checks. I didn't go to the battlae of the bands, but I know at the game I was not impressed by Hampton's band  . There were even some Hampton students saying that the band wasn't all that great.

I dont know.. maybe we didnt hear the same thing... I thought all of the sections came with it. Especially the sections that dont normally do fanfares or even have a sectional battle on the regular (i.e. Saxes). I think we did very well and didnt hold back... I also think that all of the sections improved from the following years. And the band as a whole did a great job... both bands for that matter. Even when I heard the playback from the tape... We (Hampton) were not weak at all.. Maybe you had a bad seat or something... :?: As for the football game... Norfolk got SLAUGHTERED!!! its aight.. maybe next year!!!
