the only thing that is a lil' awkward...is he just seems a little older....but i don't know if that's because we've seen him actually grow up from his teenage years...or what....but that's really the only thing that i'd see as negative about the video....
but i mean, he is older, lol...so it ain't necessarily a "negative" thing...just an observation....
even tho everyone gives LL a WHOLE lot more props than Will (& it's certainly understandable - not by any means saying LL doesn't deserve his...he's definitely been an excellent artist and MC all of these years)....i think it's cute to know Will's older and more mature now...and still hangin'...and been around since the '80s...just like LL

Okay, the song is bordeline. But I think Will Smith will never ever be hardcore or dirty as a rapper, for the simple fact that he is a family man with an image to uphold. Even if he did stray that way, who would believe him rapping about how many people he's shot or ho's he's pimped? NOBODY!
And those are not video ho's. I don't even think people are touching in this video when they dance. It's something his kids can watch, anybody's kids can watch, and not wonder why this lady is half-**** sliding down a pole.

I used to respect Will Smith for having clean lyrics because to me, that reflected his family values. However, I really dislike "Switch" because it seems like he's trying too hard to gain credibilty. It's like he's saying "Hey ya'll...I'm hip...I belong.." It's actually quite sickening. I miss the Will Smith that made "Summertime." Where'd he go??!!?!!

Well I still prefer Kool and the Gang's "Summer Madness" (the song he sampled for "Summertime") as my summertime anthem.
But to me....
Will has only been in it for the money post-"fresh prince of bel-air" and thats obvious...
But Im happy there is someone out there who your 5 yr old cousins can listen to...
But that "Switch" mess is horrible!
I was actually surprised when I heard the song and saw the video, to be honest I though it was gonna be garbage but he pleasantly surprised me with this joint, especially after that song he did for the MIB 2 sondtrack I thought his music career was over, but I actually like this song.
