NSU hands down returning 3 starters on a team that was 10-8 in the MEAC last year. we are returning 6 players from last years team and we added 6 more. 12 players with an awesome chemistry. This years team is bigger and stronger. only teams to look out for is: Coppin, Famu, Del State.

Think yall are sleeping on Howard’s men team, even though we are 3-4 overall, we are 1-0 in the MEAC and weve just got over a SEVERE losing streak by our better players But here’s just a few notes from their past basketball games this year… University of Maryland eastern shore vs Bison(win) HOWARD GAME NOTES: Ford leads the team in assists (36), steals (24), scoring (16.2), three-point field goal percentage (41 percent), minutes (33.8 per game) and in free throw **** (94 percent)…the Bison are forcing over 20 turnovers per game and are averaging almost 12 steals per game…Howard is **** 73 percent from the free throw line as a team…the Bison are being out-rebounded by more than 8 per game. Iowa State vs Bison(loss) GAME NOTES: Ford and Ault have been a potent, one-two punch for the Bison the past two games…Ford is coming off the first triple-double of his career and has now tallied 24 points, 21 assists, 16 steals and 8 rebounds in the the loss to Iowa State and the win over UMES…Ault has 51 points in the two contests…the 40 three-point attempts is the most by the Bison in two seasons…Howard continues to force turnovers…the full-court pressure forced 21 Iowa State turnovers...the Bison travel to Farmville VA to take on Longwood College next Saturday at 3 p.m. And WOMEN’S B-BALL, MY GURL DAISHA HICKS IS KILLING EM! With game average 18.3 points, 3.7 rebounds,3 assists and 3 steals Washington, DC-Daisha Hicks scored 14 of her game-high 21 points in the second half and Melloni Benson added seven of her 11 to help Howard defeat Loyola College of Maryland, 59-53 in a women's non-conference game at Burr Gymnasium. The win kept the Lady Bison (5-0) undefeated and gives them their best record in 21 YEARS! They did lose their first game this season to Drexel university so they are 5-1 right now, and 2-1 in MEAC

DSU Mens got to much coming back and a group of freshman that are the truth. We were 3rd last year and we gonna jump 2 spots. Plus we losing to NCAA powerhouse by like 4 and 5 points. The ladies aint looking 2 good since the top players are ineligible, including last years player of the year.
