Put a Detailed paragraph as 2 why U wanna be a Mod, what forum U wanna be over and why..........and what U think a Mod should do........
Keep in mind if chose you MUST do what U said U think a Mod Should do else YOU WONT BE ONE ANYMORE......... and ummmmm dont think just cause U a Mod U gonna still be one......
EVERY Current Mod could lose they position if they aint doin what they need 2 be doin..........Got me????

well i wanna be a mod because first of all i am here a lot.ive been here as long as some of the mods although my post count may not show because of some issues las year with my school and my computer.i guess u could say i took a leave of absence for awhile.but im not even gonna lie but it also looks fun to do.plus u need a mod thats here almost every day unlike some mods who come every blue moon.but i dont even need to moderate the yard.the games,sports,or the hamptons would do just fine.
scratch that.i would like to be a mod for the yard.like homegirl said above, im good at organization too since i am an information systems major too.but if i was mod i would at least post replies and topics to the "****" forums that nobody seems to go to.

A moderator should keep the energy of a room flowing and make meaningful contributions to threads. This facilitates the continuance of an amicable e-atmosphere. If chosen as a moderator, I will put forth the utmost effort to do just that.
The HBCU-Prospects Room is where many of us HBCU-Central/Connect heads got our start. Though sometimes touted as the "****" room, I think it is safe to postulate that at least 78% of all who use these message boards have made at LEAST two comments in the Prospects/High School room. Also, that room has gave me much-needed information about black colleges when I first started visiting this website. Thus, I would consider it a priviledge to be allowed to continue moderating that room.
An active participant in Hip Hop culture, I would like to moderate the Lyricist's Lounge and/or Music room. I have made significant contributions to the room, enjoy viewing everyone's creativity through cyberspace, and would endeavor to get it "jumping." That way, people wouldn't feel the need to leave their songs and verses all over the Yard, because they know someone would be visiting the Lounge, too.
Not dissing the Yard or anything. In fact, I would love to moderate that room, also. The Yard has nurtured me on my journey to choosing which HBCU's i wanted to attend, offered me timely advice, and kept me entertained during boring-**** classes. If given the chance to moderate the Yard, I would do all that i said a moderator SHOULD do in the first paragraph of this petition, in hopes of giving new HBCU-CONNECTORS the same experience that I did.
Finally, I should have a shot at moderating the Education Issues and Concerns room. I have made many of the more intellectual posts throughout these message boards, through which I have manifested my aptitude for moderating a room dealing with such issues.

I want to be a Moderator for the music forum. I know I only have like 420 posts and thats because I just started posting last month but I think I can do a good job as a MOD. I dont want to be one for the Yard or anything else just the Music forum. Im always in the music forum posting and thats my thing. Its a lot of good topics in there so I dont add any unless its a good one so I just reply to the ones in there. Im update on all my music, I know pretty much something about every posts already in there so thats why I want to be a MOD for the music forum. I think a MOD should make sure there forum is straight and that there are no wack topis in there that has nothing to do with music. I also think a MOD should actually be active on the forum and come on here often.
So I explained why I want to be a MOD and what a MOD should do. So hopefully I get to be one of the MOD's in the Music forum...

I would like to be a moderator for the photo forum and the yard because there are atrocities in there[Photo Forum] that John Kerry wouldn't even commit. I saw a thread when one girl got her photos 'bombed' on and I said to myself, " If I was the mod, I would've deleted this like--yesterday"
I would like to be a mod for the yard because I would delete pointless posts, not threads, with the quickness. I wouldnt ruin it for everybody because of one person's ignorance..
I would like to mod for the HBCU Education and Concerns forum beacause I am a brilliant young man whom offers thoughtful insight on most topics.
first off, why the hell is my name being brought into this?
2ndly- Kool does nothing w/ the sports forum, if anybody does any activity of moderating, it's me, i say we replace him w/ Chantel, she's more on point with things
Third of all- i'm maintaining the fellas forum, there's no need for another moderator...
Fourth- i done got the most posts, and i'm one of the FEW moderators that does their jobs.... so i should take over the Yard as well... 8)
Chantel is my only nomination for the Sports forum... at least i know she'll hold it down :arrow:
