2. What can be done to strengthen the relationship between the African American and Hispanic communities living within the United States.
In order to strengthen the relationship between the African American and Hispanic communities living within the US. There should be more history on each culture from the opposite culture, in order for each culture to more fully understand and respect each other. Seriously knowledge is power and if each culture actually took a little time to look deep(really not to deep) into the culture of the other they would see that African Americans and Hispanics are very much a like in many ways.
First, of throughout both cultures history African Americans and Hispanics have been know to be HARD laborers not by choice but because it really was not an option not to perform hard labor, really it was and sometime for some the only way to survive.
Secondly both cultures have a deep love for there families really family orientated and believe everything starts at home. African Americans and Hispanic believe its not and do not look for the world to teach their young; the culture prefers that their young are taught the correct way of living with out the impressions of the outside world which can be VERY corrupt.
Third each culture the African American and Hispanics are both treated like second class citizen whether or not they are natural citizen or not the other cultures in this MELTING POT THAT WE CALL THE WORLD treat African Americans and Hispanics like they are **** , trash, or a huge waste of existence....Personally I beg to differ because if any of the last statements where true about myself I would not be enrolled in school and trying to become a positive role model in my community! One better a positive role model for the WORLD!
In closing,
If Africans Americans and Hispanics take the time out to dig a little into to each others history's, story's, background, and present facts. Each culture will see that they are so much a like and that they need to stick together because they are basically more so like brothers and sisters of just a different color thats the ONLY difference.
Thank you
