African Americans and Hispanics in my part of the state are having conflict for no apparent reason. I guess because many of the territories that we held are being flooded with Hispanics that my African-American culture feels hatred towards them because they feel they are being pushed out. Most African-Americans are also on the poverty level, that they get frustrated when they try to do right and get an job. They see that more Hispanics get hired than them and hate the racism towards them. The problem however, they don’t see the hate towards the Hispanics either.
Hispanics are also discriminated against almost as African-Americans. Hispanics are also considered minorities and are supposed to be considered gang-affiliated just as African-Americans are considered to be. Sometimes, Hispanic families have to live on edge because they don’t get paid as much as everybody else.
It’s important for African Americans and Hispanics to stop conflicting and work together to change the community. Compare to others in the United States, African-Americans and Hispanics view the world in almost all aspects. These races see poverty, gang-****, ****, and many other problems that affect the country of the United States. Most of the time African-Americans and Hispanics attract more people and have more to say than others. They have the ability to greatly impact the world if the two worked together and will address issues that will help everybody in the United States.
The things needed to help make this a reality is simply respectful communication. Instead of hating one another for no reason, the two is going to have to feel for each other and understand each other. The only way that is going to happen is communication. Idolized people in both cultures showing unity will definitely make an huge impact to bring both cultures together. Starting clubs in schools and colleges (I’m going to try start one in college) will help bring the children in schools together also.
Black colleges will be key to supporting African-Americans and Hispanics. They should continue to notify as many students as they can and give them confidence in their ability to attend college. If possible, their ability to fund for more students that are in areas where educational opportunities are very low will be key to helping these cultures. Some kids see nobody trying to help them so they resort to **** and **** just to survive. If more kids see opportunities to attend colleges from black colleges, it would be an overall better society. There would be less **** if there was more opportunities for everyone to receive money.
The tension between African-Americans and Hispanics have increased over years. In my generation, it has elevated to shootings just because you are of that heritage. All of it revolves around hate because the other culture is treated more fairly than the other in that area. Parents seeking for jobs and can’t get one, blame others for taking the space left. So, it causes hate between others for no apparent reason. If these two heritages unified together, they would be a strong force in making American society more positive.
