In my opinion, it is important for Black Americans to rebuild a sense of community because this shows an example of unity as well as strength. Without unity, there is no strength. If we as a people stick together, we can break many boundaries that should come before us.
There are many things we can do to connect our selves back together. For example, having respect for ourselves and others by not calling ourselves dogs. Being concerned for one another instead of being jealous of what someone else has. Uphold our race and be proud of our heritage and not wait for the month of February to come but celebrate black history month all year long.
Characteristics of a growing community are, keeping the community clean and free of garbage and trash. Screening the people who live in the community by only having people in the community who take pride in what they have and appreciate a quiet, peaceful and descent neighborhood. It doesn't stop there this is just beginning where we should teach our children so it is instilled in them to do this. It has been said, "If you know better than you do better"
Network platforms are a great place to share ones' feelings. Here there is shown a sense of closeness, and a type of relationship. If someone is chatting on these platforms, they won't be judged or embarrased about what they say in which one may be reluctant to chat otherwise. It allows a person to express themselves because the person they are talking to are not in front of them but in the computer screen.
In conclusion, these issues are only answers and we as black people have the power to correct these issues so we will recognize and appreciate being able to be free.
