As our population of minorities incfreases and America becomes heavily overwhelmed with low-income families and little to no insurance, these people need support and education. Organizations give support, therefore people can become dependent on loans and free aid until they can become stable. Many Historical Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU's) support and educate them a great deal, allowing minorities to become part of America to one day be known of as having equal standards, social class, and fairly equal population statistics. African-American and Hispanics are the major minorities who need and deserve the support. I believe that HBCU's should continue their support efforts towards thes major minorities . Education is the key to success!
HBCU's should continue its offering of scholarships, grants, and loans because these types of financial aid opens the doors to college for y, letting each individual work their way towards a degree. I know from experiendce that getting into certain colleges and finding funding to attend is the hardest part. Most of my friends are not even going to the college of their choice because they couldn't afford it. With the support of HBCU's, it would be nice to go to the college of ones choice.
Thier Scholarships, Grants, and Loans will allow African-Americans and Hispanics a chance at a dream rather than that, the best education they can recieve. As an African-American, i know first hand that I would not be able to
to attend college if it wasnt for the suppoort of my historical black college, Howard University. Many students struggle all around because the world is seemingly demanding higher education, people really dont have many choices but to follow the flow of society, if they want to have a promising and successful career. Not that higher education is a bad thing but if you want to survive this world you have to have an education. the increasing population African-Americans and Hispanics beed much support to aid students into a successful life. HBCU's should continue to be a neccessary supporter of these needs; there can never be enough support! As the world turns, we should continue to support each other throughout our lifetime with education.
