I think this was a good decsion. The law shouldn't be used to discriminate against people with different lifestyles, no matter what people may think of it.

PRAISE THE LORD!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT I'M READING!!!...(well with the world we're living in, I take that back.) I don't care if don't nobody agree with me, I'm going to say what I have to say and leave it at that... Man & Man or Lady & Lady is not a marriage. I don't care what kind of laws they pass, it's still not going to change the fact that this is a SIN in GOD'S EYES!!! "Therefore shall a MAN leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his WIFE: and they shall be one flesh" Genesis 2:24

Clearly. I feel that we just took one giant step towards a more libral future by this court decision and I wholeheartedly agree with i*heart*pie and hopes this trend continues into NY. Who are we to step in the way of love, just because it's a different love?

Also, I would like to say that I do respect everyone's religion, but I would really like to see some of the more positive aspects of religion expressed to uplift and better the individual rather than ostracize others. Even the most liberal of us can be a little intolerant at times, so we all have room to grow, but religion is something that is taken out of context and "elaborated upon" so much, that much of it has lost it's meaning, and not just Christianity either.

First of all, religion is meant to guide the individual, it's like interpreting poety, in that you can't mis-intepret it, my "ever-so-righteous" sister. If you take marriage so seriosly, why don't you mind your own, if you are married, and leave others alone? It's really none of your business who's getting married, so who are you to judge? God didn't ask for your two-cent opinion. He doesn't need you to spread his word or tell the truth because the Bible should be truth enough for believers and your word makes no difference either way. .... Go love someone, TRULY LOVE SOMEONE, and get a life.
this is a hot issue, granted- but really, there's no need to get hostile towards someone who is simply expressing their views. " "
