lol...Before I announce who has won, I apologize for my tardiness in not doing this thread sooner. I been really busy...
ALSO...I would like to thank all of the nominees, semi finalists, and finalists who participated in this pageant. All of you would have worn the title of Mr. HBCU well. Thank you to all the members of the HBCU community who voted in all 3 rounds of the competition, and allowing this to be possible. As much as I would love to see both Rod and Dwayne wear the crown of Mr. HBCU, we all know there can only be ONE winner...
WITH THAT SAID....Your new 2005 MR. HBCUCONNECT is...

Jamila....... i'ma have to holla at you later..... (you know what i'm talking about :wink
but wow.... i really didn't think i had a chance, but i guess i had more of a shot than possible.... first off.... Rod, is still my bro, regardless of the outcome, and it was a pretty good competition, i want to thank all of the friends i've made on HBCU, and even all the people who don't seem to get along w/ me, it's still all love, no hard feelings...as i already stated i've made a great impact on people already, and i will strive and continue to do that as this year of 2005 progresses... i know it was hard for everyone voting between two of the most influential people on this board... there's nothing more to say, but thank you HBCU, and lets make this another great year of posting and family...
