january 20th is the presidential inauguration, in DC that is a huge day for us Howard students ESPECIALLY and the international A.N.S.W.E.R group is going to schedule a NATIONAL march and protest on that day! !!!! as bush is coming in his caravan to get sworn in and it will be to protest the war in iraq, to bring our troops home, and the racism and discrimination that bush has so blatantly shown towards certain minority groups...including us african americans....though you may have voted for bush YOU DO NOT HAVE TO stand for this war! or his treatment of the citizens that make up this great country...if you want to travel to DC to participate in this historic event go here for more info http://www.internationalanswer.org/ there will be similar protests in san francisco and los angeles....be apart of history and dont lay on the sidelines!!!
BRING OUR TROOPS HOME NOW!!!!!!!!

actually this group, (imma part of it) we have been protesting since day ONE!...against this president...but since this is inauguration this is the day that people will most recognize and hopefully bush will pay attention if on the one day he is SUPPOSEDto be getting the most support he is getting cries of change and reform instead...but why complain on what day it is??? because i can sit here all day and complain about that, this protest isnt about democratic or republican its about CHANGE to keep people from GETTING **** and further hurt by this man!..i mean we've just now got the permit to even protest on this day....nevermind *sigh*.....what im trying to say is...this is a unniversal protest to make this president pay attention...believe me if kerry were president we wouldve done the same thing to try to stop the war in iraq and to make him know that certain groups in america will not be ignored!
instead of complaining, why not rise up to help you fellow brothers from getting ****, republican or not! :?

I actually agree with him, and I voted for Kerry.
Why ruin the inauguration? That's a day that should be reserved for controlled excitement. By protesting, this group will be showing that they have no respect for decorum and order. Unfortunately the media will not see the group, it will only see the thousands of Howard, or HBCU students.
It seems like a great idea on the grassroots level, but it won't really affect any positive change. It will only look very disrespectful and further alienate minorities from the President.
We need to work from within the Washington power structure to exact change; not than promote anarchy and hatred. It's over people, Bush won fair and square, whether you or I like it or not. It's time to repair those broken bridges and work for the betterment of the country.

COSIGN, COSIGN, COSIGN!
How long are we going to be bitter that President Bush won? It is not as if he just got in, this man has been in for 4 years, the same Bush is here that was here 4 years ago....Sure people can be dissapointed that he is still in, hell I am, I wish someone else was in besides him (and besides Kerry). But it is what it is...

I completely agree with ya'll. If I would have been old enough to vote, I would have voted Kerry because I don't like Bush nor the things he has done while in office. But ya'll, he's in office now and there's not too much we can do about it. Well I guess you can protest. I guess all I'm trying to say is that, Bush is in office, like J said, it is what it is....and we can only hope things won't get worse. But good luck with all of ya'lls efforts.
