Go-Go was BIG down here when I was in College. That was before the state of NC started enforcing those stupid out-of-state student percentages. We had so many DC/MD/VA people at Central that the Metro Club was one of the biggest student orgs on campus.
*singing* AAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWW PUSH!, yao yao, AAAAAAAAAAAWWW PUSH!
Sorry Guys but I really can't get down with the gogo music, I will probably go crazy if i see somebody doin that in Michigan. But to each his own.

It's just like every other regional music, you don't get into it, until you see the natives rep it. I didn't like crunk music until I took a few trips to Atlanta. Now it's nationwide.
When you go to the go-go in DC and see the folk roughin in the pit, it's amazing. And you kinda get into it.
The first time I was up here and saw people beating their feet I was just looking at them like wtf?!?! It looked like they were having seizures and going into convulsions and sh%^. But now it's so interesting because people switch it up, so it never looks the same. I kinda like it....I wanna learn.
Shoot I thought I would never get down wit that go-go stuff but at JCSU we got a **** of people from MD/DC and my roommate from DC and she be listenin to it in the room so she got me listenin to it. Some of it sound kinda hott though...
